We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Finance team in the role of Financial Planning and Analytics Manager in HSBC Bank

Principal responsibilities
• Supervising performance and analysis of variances at product level and business segment level
• Handling the banks financial resource planning cycle (bank wide annual operating plan)
• Periodic gap analysis and forecasting of revenue and balance sheet items
• Monitoring of costs and support on cost management /cost saving initiatives
• Handling and leading off shore management information production team
• Carry out external environment analysis and develop insights into competitor behavior
• Preparation of Executive Committee/Board papers and country management letter
• Be the finance business partner to Digital Business Services and the key resource person in handling management information reports
• Drive the digitalization and automation of key reports

Requirements
• Degree from a recognized university (preferably in finance and accounting) or full qualification in CIMA, ACCA, and/or CFA
• Ability to utilize advanced Microsoft Excel, Python, BI Tools and have a drive for automation and digitalization
• Previous experience in a Management Information and Analysis role will be an added advantage
• Extensive experience in financial planning will be an added advantage
• Strong planning, analytical, communications, lateral thinking, influencing, interpersonal and project management skills
• Demonstrating ability to identify required tasks and execute them independently
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and effectively communicate across various business lines and functions
• Be change oriented and able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines
• Effective communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills
